UNITEX LT80H2 LTO-8 USB + SAS External Tape Drive
The UNITEX LT80H2 USB/SAS is a versatile LTO-8 external tape drive with both USB 3.0 and SAS connectivity. The switchable USB/SAS design gives organisations the convenience of USB together with the option of a traditional enterprise SAS connection.
Each LTO-8 cartridge provides 12TB native / up to 30TB compressed capacity, with data transfer speeds of up to 300MB/s. The drive can read and write both LTO-8 and LTO-7 media, making it suitable for new deployments as well as environments with existing LTO-7 archives.

USB Convenience with SAS Flexibility
Unlike a conventional SAS-only LTO tape drive, the LT80H2 USB/SAS can be used through USB 3.0 or switched to its SAS interface according to your environment. This makes it particularly useful where the same LTO drive may need to be used with different systems.
The USB interface also allows convenient connection and disconnection without permanently installing the tape drive inside a server.
