UNITEX LT80H2 LTO-8 USB External Tape Drive
The UNITEX LT80H2 USB is an external LTO-8 USB tape drive designed for high-capacity backup, long-term data archiving and offline data protection. Its USB 3.0 interface makes LTO tape storage accessible without requiring a traditional SAS interface or SAS HBA.
With support for 12TB native / 30TB compressed capacity per LTO-8 cartridge and transfer speeds of up to 300MB/s, the LT80H2 is well suited for backing up large datasets, video archives, surveillance footage, business data and other information requiring reliable long-term retention.

Flexible LTO Archiving
The UNITEX USB interface removes one of the traditional barriers to using LTO tape. The drive can be connected directly through USB 3.0, making it suitable for workstations, servers and supported systems where installing a dedicated SAS controller may not be practical.
LTO tape is especially suitable for data that must be retained for long periods but does not need to remain permanently online. Once a tape is removed from the drive, the data can be physically isolated from the network for an effective air-gap backup strategy.
