(5250)Western Digital has launched the 8TB hard drives in Middle East. These are helium sealed drives. Advantage helium provides , being less dense than air is that the platters face reduced internal resistance.  WD80EZRX the Red NAS 8TB drive will be available in Middle East and Dubai around first week of April. Anticipated part number was WD80EFRX, on the likes of Red nomenclature thus far (upto 6TB Drives are named WDNNEFRX where NN is the capactiy)
