Wd Annonced today that they will be removing the red sticker on the ESD bag. Those who have seen the proudct, know that WD used to put a small sticker on the ESD bag of 3.5" Red drive that will be removed in the new packing. This change doesn't affect the form, fit or function of the drive, its merely a small change in the packing of Red Drives.
WD further says that the reason for this is a new marketing campaign for RED drives.
